You'll find it's a mainly residential area with semi-detached houses and gardens, with a handy parade of shops including a lovely bakery and a convenience store just around the corner on Blendon Road. Many people tend to drive here, though the B115 provides good connections, and there are bus routes nearby. Parking can be a little tight on Thanet Road itself at peak times, so be prepared to parallel park!
