Debbie studied dentistry at the prestigious Guy’s Hospital Dental School, London, qualifying in 2001. She spent the first five years of her career dedicated to the care of special needs and paediatric patients, during which time she was Senior Dental Officer in the dental department at Milton Keynes Primary Care Trust, and was the clinical lead for the dental surgery at the National Spinal Injuries Centre at Stoke Mandeville Hospital.
